Description
AVEVA PRO, Invensys is a multinational company that produces various engineering products under titles such as Avantis, Wonderware, and SimSci. The Invensys SimSci-Esscor brand with the new name Schneider Electric SimSci, which was produced in collaboration with Schneider Electric, is a set of software for designing and simulating fluid flow, performing calculations, analyzing, optimizing, and planning production in chemical units.
This collection of three SimSci Design sections; including programs related to design and simulation, the SimSci Operate section; which Includes simulation tools for better training and understanding, the SimSci Optimize section; includes process optimization programs and the SimSci Spiral section, including project management software and production cost estimation. One of the most important software in this collection is SimSci PRO/II.
For the design and simulation section, several different software are provided, of which we introduce and present five main and widely used programs;
Update: Since early 2015, Invensys has been known as Schneider Electric, and its software suite is known as Schneider Electric SimSci.
Update 2: In March 2018, AVEVA Group announced its merger with Schneider Electric Industries, and the company’s software products will be developed under AVEVA Software.
The main software of the Schneider Electric SimSci series:
Invensys SimSci-Esscor PRO/II or Schneider Electric SimSci PRO/II: powerful software for designing and simulating chemical processes and performing advanced analysis of processes in oil, gas, and chemicals
Invensys SimSci-Esscor INPLANT: fluid flow simulator program with the possibility of designing, ranking, and analyzing piping systems
Invensys SimSci-Esscor HEXTRAN: advanced heat transfer simulation software; Suitable for designing all types of single and network heat exchangers and analyzing their performance
Invensys SimSci-Esscor PIPEPHASE: a powerful program for accurate simulation and modeling of pipe systems, as well as analysis and calculations of flows and related parameters inside pipelines
Invensys SimSci-Esscor DYNSIM or Schneider Electric SimSci DYNSIM: a comprehensive OTC (Operator Training Simulator) software for dynamic simulation of processes along with their analysis and control to improve efficiency and productivity

The hardware and software requirements for this set have not been made publicly available by the manufacturer, but in terms of Windows compatibility, it is compatible with various versions.

The installation method of PRO/II 10 and 10.2 and DYNSIM 5.3.2 is given in the Readme file, which is the same as the previous versions.
SimSci PRO/II software:
Start installing the software and select FlexNet 11.8 option during the installation and continue and complete the installation. Copy and paste the FlxNet11.dll file into the following default paths:
Windows 32-bit:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\SIMSCISI\MSCICFI50\VC090x32\bin
Windows 64-bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SIMSCI\SIMSCICFI50\VC090x32\bin
Copy and paste the License.dat file into the following default paths:
Windows 32-bit:
C:\Program Files\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin
Windows 64-bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin
Run the Edit the system environment variables file and click on Environment Variables. In the System variable section, click on New and enter and save the following values:
Variable name: IPASSI_LICENSE_FILE
Variable value: C:\Program Files\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin\license.dat
And for 64-bit Windows:
Variable value: C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCIP\ROII94\Bin\license.dat
Other software:
Start installing the software by running the Setup_DownLoadLy.iR.exe file and during the installation, select FELEXlm 9.5, which is the default option, and enter the following statement in the License Server section; Enter your computer name instead of DOWNLOADLY-IR.
Complete the installation and then copy the contents of the Crack folder to the root of the installation location, which is C: SIMSCI by default ;
Run the lmtools.exe file and go to the Config Services tab and enter the addresses of the three required files as follows:
Service Name = SimSci_DownLoadLy.iR
Path to the lmgrd = C:\SIMSCI\lmgrd.exe
Path to the license = C:\SIMSCI\License_DownLoadLy.iR.dat
Path to the log = C:\SIMSCI\Log_DownLoadLy.iR.log
Activate the option Use Services and then Start Server at Power Up and click on Save Service. Finally, go to the Start/Stop/Reread tab and click on Start Server; Instead of this step, you can run the Start_DownLoadLy.iR.cmd file every time you run the software and then run the software.
The username and Password to run DYNSIM software is simsci.
